Nizamabad, December 30 (Gatla News): As part of the New Year celebrations, the police department has imposed several restrictions. To this extent, Nizamabad District In-charge CP Sindhu Sharma issued a press release on Monday. She suggested that the New Year celebrations should be celebrated peacefully on the night of December 31 in Nizamabad, Armur and Bodhan divisions under the Nizamabad Police Commissionerate. She said that legal action will be taken if peace and security are disrupted. She said that driving after consuming alcohol will not be allowed. Liquor shops and bars can be kept open until permission is obtained from the government. She said that a report will be submitted to the state government to cancel their licenses if they are sold after the time. Similarly, she warned that strict legal action will be taken against them if bars and restaurants remain open after the time. She said that crackers, orchestras and DJ sound systems have been banned as they create panic among the people. For this, 20 special police teams will be formed in Nizamabad city and extensive vehicle checks will be conducted. She said that if people are seen gathering on the road after 12:30 midnight, legal action will be taken against them. She said that strict action will be taken against those who have arranged sit-ins in wine shops and public places. She suggested that the people of the district should celebrate the New Year in a peaceful atmosphere without disturbing the freedom of others. She appealed to everyone to cooperate with the police department so that peace and security are not disturbed.
