Mortad, January 31 (Gatla News): Sunkam Rajeshwar (Raju) of Setpalli village in the mandal has been appointed as the President of the National BC Welfare Association Mortad Mandal, District President Kondaveeti Shyam Prasad said on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, after presenting him with the appointment letter, he suggested that he should travel extensively within the mandal for the advancement of BCs and sensitize BCs. He said that BCs will stand at the forefront of society only with state power. He called for the BCs to show their strength in the upcoming local elections. Speaking as the new President, Rajeshwar thanked the district and state leaders who had entrusted him with the post with trust. BC District Treasurer Rangiri Narsaiah, Retired Employees Association District Convener Mancheriala Prabhakar, Division President Suresh Rukmaji, Vice President Indrala Lachchaiah, BC leaders Chityala Damodar, Velpula Rakesh, Pallikonda Mallikarjun and others participated in the program.
