Mortad, June 24 (Gatla News): As part of a program to create awareness about drug use, a special program was organized for the students of SI Vikram at Bapuji Mahatma Jyotiba Phule School in Mortad mandal center on Tuesday to stay away from drugs. The students were made aware of the side effects of drugs, physical, mental, social harms and situations that lead to crime. He informed that since the youth are the future of the country, it is the responsibility of the society to protect them from drugs. He explained the harm caused by drugs. He advised the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle. He made the students take a pledge. Later, the school principal said that this program will help a lot in raising awareness about drugs among the students. The school Principal, teachers, Police Gurunath, staff and others participated in the program.
