Mortad, July 26 (Gatla News): A monthly review meeting was held with the officers of the police stations under the jurisdiction of Armoor Division on Saturday at the police station in Mortad mandal headquarters under the auspices of Nizamabad Police Commissioner Sai Chaitanya IPS.Speaking on this occasion, the CP instructed the officers to take all necessary steps to eliminate pending cases and to resolve pending cases quickly and take steps as per the plan to reduce the number of pending cases. He said that while inquiring about grave and non-grave cases in pending (under investigation) cases, quality investigation should be done in every case with complete transparency while investigating grave and non-grave cases. He said that every matter from case registration to charge sheet should be thoroughly investigated and finalised. He said that investigation should be completed quickly in FOXO and grave cases and charge Sheet should be filed in the court. He said that every officer should have Complete. understanding of CCTNS. He suggested that the investigation station management should be aware of it. Special attention should be paid to long-pending cases and steps should be taken to resolve them immediately. There will be continuous monitoring in the case of pending cases, and officials at all levels should work towards reducing the number of cases by reviewing new cases as well as long-pending cases from time to time. He said that efforts should be made to ensure that technology is accessible to the people and efficient services are provided and justice is done quickly. He said that Village Police Officers (VPO) should visit the villages every day and interact with the people and work towards crime control. He said that efforts should be made to create awareness about the importance of CCTVs in villages through community policing. He suggested that students and the public should be made aware of cybercrime and the use of Dial 100. If they are a victim of online fraud, they should call 1930 or register a complaint on the NCRP portal https://www.cybercrime.gov.in/. He suggested that special attention should be paid to the prevention of road accidents, and that areas where road accidents occur most often should be identified as black spots and signboards should be installed. He said that speed breakers should be installed on link roads connecting highways and bushes obstructing the roads should be removed. If there are any defects in road engineering, he said that efforts should be made to prevent accidents in coordination with the National Highways, State Highways Authority and other relevant authorities. He also said that to prevent road accidents, special drives should be conducted every day, special drives should be organized with special focus on overspeed, triple driving, minors driving vehicles, etc. He said that awareness should be created among the public about road safety rules to prevent road accidents.Visible policing and patrolling should be intensified, measures should be taken to prevent alcohol consumption in public places, and the movements of old criminals should be kept under surveillance to prevent thefts. He said that strong action should be taken with special focus on anti-social activities, illegal trafficking of ganja and other drugs, gambling, illegal trafficking of PDS, etc. He warned that the PD Act will be registered against those who repeatedly commit such crimes.
