Nizamabad, January 25 (Gatla News): Collector Ila Tripathi stated that the government has sanctioned Rs. 10 lakhs as immediate assistance for the medical treatment of Excise Constable Soumya, who was seriously injured when she was hit by a car driven by individuals transporting marijuana while she was conducting checks as part of her duty. She said that Constable Soumya is currently receiving treatment at NIMS hospital in Hyderabad, and the government is ready to provide all necessary support for her to receive even better medical care. She added that the Honorable Chief Minister is constantly inquiring about Soumya’s health condition and has instructed the NIMS hospital authorities to provide her with the best possible treatment. The Collector assured Soumya’s family that the government machinery will stand by them in every way.
