– Sri Sai Baba Temple becomes bustling with activity
Velpur, January 29 (Gatla News): On Thursday, coinciding with Bhishma Ekadashi, a cow worship ceremony was held in the morning at the Sri Sai Baba temple located in a lush and pleasant environment on the outskirts of Velpur mandal headquarters. Bhajans were performed grandly in the meditation hall. On this occasion, the Sri Sai Baba temple was bustling with devotees. Bomapalli Hemalatha Gangadhar Gupta (Velpur), Meela Shravya Nagaraju (Armoor), and Sama Srihitha (Velpur) became permanent donors for the Annadanam (food donation) program on the occasion of their birthdays. Subsequently, the temple priest Anurag Pandey felicitated the permanent donors with shawls, offered them prasadam, and blessed them. Irupaji Damodar Goud, an active member of the temple development committee, explained the significance of Bhishma Ekadashi to the devotees. During the palanquin procession from the meditation hall, devotees joyfully sang devotional songs such as “Om Sai Sri Sai Jayajaya Sai… Sachidananda Rajadhiraja…” and danced in a circular formation. Temple committee members, Sai devotees, Bhajan artists, and others participated in this palanquin procession.
