Meru Corporation Chairman and Secretary Honored

Nizamabad, May 12 (Gatla News): Although the Meru caste people have been demanding a state corporation for the caste from the previous governments for the last 20 years, today it has not been fruitful. The current Congress government’s Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued orders appointing Sangha Venkatrajam as the chairman of the governing body and Madi Shetty Laxminarayana as the vice chairman and has issued orders to sanction funds of Rs 50 crores. On Tuesday, the newly appointed chairman and vice-chairman were honored in the Nizamabad Meru building. The program was presided over by Nizamabad District President Soma Hanmanth Rao Sabha, while all the town and mandal offices of Nizamabad district, Nirmal district, The Kamareddy district and Jagtial district offices, as well as the Mumbai, Pune and Nanded presidiums of Maharashtra, were present and felicitated. Later, a petition was presented with various demands, discussing the problems of the Meru caste people and the development of the poor. The government should ensure that at least 50% of the 1000 sewing machines sent to the constituency for free to BC women should be provided to the Meru caste women, the free electricity facility provided by the government to Rajaka and Nai Brahmin shops should be extended to Meru caste professional shops, and the government should give uniform sewing contracts in other departments to the Meru caste people. The petition was accepted. The chairman responded to this and assured that the demands mentioned in the petition would be taken to the attention of the government and efforts would be made to resolve them. District President Soma Hanmanth Rao, Nagara Meru Sangam were present in this program. President Vennu Devanand, District Vice President Kottur Chandrakanth, City Vice Presidents Puttakota Pandu, Kottur Suresh, District Joint Secretary Gatla Narender, Talla Narsimlu, City Joint Secretary Racharla Arun Chand, Talla Shiva, District Treasurer Kokku Rajeshwar, Rajendra prasad and other members of the Meru Sangha participated.
