Armoor,October 11(Gatla News): Nizamabad District Congress President Ayyappa Srinivas is in the fray for the post. Recently, the Pradesh Congress Committee has started the process of appointing district Congress presidents. Recently, it has appointed state election observers as well as district in-charges. It is known that applications are being accepted from aspirants till the 12th of this month. There is a campaign that the DCC post in Nizamabad district will be given to Reddys or Munnur Kapus. In the last assembly elections in Nizamabad district, not a single assembly seat was allotted to a BC. In the wake of the recent announcement of 42 percent reservation by the government to implement the Kamareddy BC declaration, the campaign has gained momentum that the post of district Congress president will be for BCs. Ayyappa Srinu, a resident of Armur town in Nizamabad district, is requesting the high command to give him the DCC post under the BC quota. After the results of the last assembly elections, he joined the Congress with 20 councilors and brought glory to the ruling party in Armur constituency. After the transfer of power in the state, the Congress party secured the post of Municipal Chairperson in Armur Baldia itself. Ayyappa Srinu’s wife Vannel Devi Lavanya worked as the Municipal Chairperson on behalf of the Congress party. Till then, there was only one Congress councilor in Armoor Baldia, Ayyappa Srinivas along with 20 councilors in the presence of PCC Chief and then Working President Mahesh Kumar Goud, former Minister Sudarshan Reddy, District Official Spokesperson AG Chinna (Srinivas), Constituency In-charge Vinay Reddy joined the Congress with the encouragement. Ayyappa Srinu should be said to be the reason for the Congress party becoming strong in the constituency at present. There is no one in the Constituency who does not know Ayyappa Srinivas. He is well known to the people through his religious and service programs. He is well known as a leader who holds the power over the Constituency. He built the Ayyappa temple on Siddulagutta in the city with his own funds and showed his service. He is remembered by everyone by organizing annadan for Ayyappa Swami for 41 days every year. He made his mark on the Congress party through development in the previous Baldia ruling class. It is said that if the Congress party is given the opportunity to be the DCC president, the party will be strengthened and justice will be done to the BCs. It should be said that Ayyappa Srinu has a lot of opportunities among those who are hoping for the DCC seat through the BC card in Nizamabad district.
