Bodire Nagamani sworn in as Bheemgal Municipal Chairman

Bheemgal, February 16 (Gatla News): Ward 6 councilor Bodire Nagamani was sworn in as the Bheemgal Municipal Chairperson on Monday. It is known that in the second general election of the municipality, Congress won 8 wards and BRS won 4 wards out of the 12 wards in the town. As the Congress party had a full quorum to win the municipal seat, the councilors who won were taken to a private resort in Hyderabad on the day the results were announced. On Monday, Balkonda constituency Congress party in-charge Mutyala Sunil Kumar reached Bheemgal at 11 am with the quorum members for the oath-taking ceremony. The oath-taking ceremony was organized at the municipal office under the auspices of Zilla Parishad CEO Sai Goud. The CEO first administered the oath to the new councilors of Congress and BRS who arrived at the meeting. Later, Bodire Nagamani (Bodire Swamy) was elected as the municipal chairperson and Tenth Ward Councilor Santilatha (JJ Narsay) as the vice-chairperson.

Bodire Nagamani, who was sworn in as the chairperson, will serve for three years, and the last two years will be served by the first ward councilor Arepalli Srija. The top leaders have reached an agreement that Tenth Ward Councilor Santilatha, who took charge as the vice-chairperson, will serve for two years and the last three years by the second ward councilor Parsha Kushalatha. As per the agreement, the governing body met on Monday.

After the municipal governing body took charge, a Congress Party rally was organized in Bheemgal town. The rally started from the municipal office and continued through all the streets of the town. The rally was attended by the chairperson, vice-chairperson, councilors, top leaders Eeravatri Anil, Sunketa Anvesh Reddy, Muthyala Sunil Kumar, Sunketa Ravi, former MPP Kanne Surender and others.
