Nizamabad, April 10 (Gatla News): Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu on Thursday conducted a surprise inspection of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School in Mortad mandal center. The dormitory, store room, kitchen etc. were inspected. The quality of rice and other goods stored in the store room and the midday meal cooked for the students were inspected. It was checked whether the food items were in accordance with the menu table or not. He inquired whether boiled eggs were being served as per the menu and whether meat was being served on certain days.
He advised the administrators to take special precautions to prevent contamination of the food items, goods and vegetables used to prepare the meals. He asked the authorities to inform them when substandard rice, other food items and vegetables were supplied. He ordered that priority be given to protecting the health of the students and regular health check-ups be conducted. The Collector was accompanied by Armoor RDO Rajagoud, MPDO Tirumala, Tahsildar Krishna, school principal R. Swapna and others.
