Nizamabad, July 14 (Gatla News): Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu on Sunday inaugurated the free dialysis services unit made available at the government district hospital in Bodhan town. Inquired about the services provided to the patients by the dialysis department. Doctors said that on an average, up to twenty people can use the services of Diasis every day. The collector brought to the attention that dialysis patients come here from surrounding mandals and simultaneously dialysis can be done for seven patients at a time. On this occasion, the Collector expressed the desire to provide better services to the patients and increase the trust of the people in the performance of the government hospitals. The collector visited RO plant, post operative ward and other departments of the hospital and inspected the local facilities. Addressed the in-patients receiving treatment in the hospital and talked about the medical services provided to them. In case of shortage of doctors, the officials were advised to send proposals for appointment of doctors on contract basis. He said that all the doctors and staff should follow the time management and perform their duties with dedication to provide quality services to the patients. It is advised to be vigilant, take precautions to avoid contracting diseases and keep the necessary medicines available as there is a high chance of seasonal diseases prevailing during the current rainy season. The Collector was accompanied by Bodan RDO Rajeshwar, Tehsildar K. Gangadhar, DCHS Dr. Sivashankar, Hospital Superintendent Dr. Ramulu, RMO Dr. Abdul Rahim and others.
