Collector visits nomination centers in Armoor and Bheemgal

Nizamabad, January 29 (Gatla News): Collector Ila Tripathi visited the nomination centers set up in Armoor and Bheemgal municipal towns on Thursday. She inquired about details such as whether the nomination papers were being processed according to the rules and the number of nominations filed for each ward. She also checked if the nomination forms were available in Telugu, English, and Hindi languages. The Collector expressed anger at the concerned officials after noticing several shortcomings at the nomination center operating in the Government Junior College in Armoor. She advised them to clarify any doubts by contacting higher officials and to take precautions to avoid unnecessary mistakes. She stated that if a re-polling situation arises anywhere, the respective Municipal Commissioners would be held responsible. She instructed them to strictly follow the rules during the nomination scrutiny process and conduct it carefully. As there is a possibility of a large number of nominations being filed on Friday, the last day, she advised them to perform their duties diligently and without any confusion.

The Collector further stated that measures have been taken to conduct the elections transparently in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the Election Commission, and requested everyone to cooperate in ensuring that the elections are held peacefully and smoothly. She urged the candidates and all political parties to strictly adhere to the election code of conduct. The Collector stated that candidates filing nominations as representatives of various parties must submit the B-form within the stipulated deadline; otherwise, they will be considered independent candidates. The Collector was accompanied by Armoor Sub-Collector Abhigyan Malviya, Armoor and Bheemgal Municipal Commissioners Uma Maheshwar and Gangadhar, and other local officials.
