Nizamabad, December 14 (Gatla News): As the government has ambitiously introduced a uniform diet plan in all welfare hostels in the state, officials and public representatives held inauguration ceremonies in various hostels in the districts on Saturday. As part of this, Collector Rajiv Gandhi hanmanthu formally launched the Common Diet Plan at the Tribal Ashram School in Kotayya Camp, Hanumanthu Varni Mandal. He visited the storeroom of the school and inspected the vegetables, goods and food items. He checked the quality of rice and Vijaya Dairy milk. He inspected the uniforms, textbooks and notebooks provided free of cost to the students by the government. He inspected the books available in the library, facilities and medicines in the health care room and expressed satisfaction. The students had a communal meal with their parents. Saplings were planted in the school premises. The Collector, who identified the need for additional facilities in the school, ordered the concerned officials to take immediate steps to improve the infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector urged the students to study well and ascend to higher positions in the future. They should take advantage of the facilities provided by the government and move forward towards higher goals. He said that the government has started a common diet plan to provide quality nutritious food to students in all welfare hostels and residential schools. He said that for the well-being of students in hostels and schools, the government has increased diet charges by 40 percent and cosmetic charges by 200 percent. He said that the government’s intention is to provide children with nutritious fortified food and to provide them with better education. He advised students to achieve the best results in line with the government’s resolve.
He advised them to overcome their fear of mathematics and English subjects and to ask their teachers without hesitation if they do not understand the lessons. He advised them to study with concentration and settle down in life without letting the feeling of being away from their parents and family members reach them.

He advised them to make their dreams come true and bring a good name to their teachers by studying with concentration. He advised them to work hard to achieve their aspirations without forgetting their parents no matter how high they rise in the future. Meanwhile, the Collector said that from now on, the authorities will regularly inspect all the welfare hostels and residential schools across the district. He said that they will check whether the students are being provided quality meals according to the new diet menu? They will check whether they are consuming quality food items while maintaining hygiene. The cultural programs performed by the students on this occasion were entertaining.
Earlier, the Collector inspected the hostels for BC and SC girls in Kotagally, the district headquarters. The collector was accompanied by Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dilip Kumar, District BC Welfare Assistant Officer Narsaiah, Social Welfare Department Officer Bhumaiah, District Tribal Welfare Department AO B. Sahdev, Welfare Shelter Managers Radharani and Kalpana and others.
