Nizamabad, October 18 (Gatla News): Constable Pramod’s funeral was held amidst full military honours. IG Chandrasekhar Reddy and CP Sai Chaitanya paid tribute to the deceased. The funeral of murdered CCS constable Pramod was held on Saturday amidst full military honours. It is known that on Friday night, a constable was attacked in Vinayaknagar in the city while he was being taken to the CCS station by rowdy sheeter Riyaz. Constable Pramod died in this incident. A special police team led by Police Commissioner Sai Chaitanya conducted the funeral with full military honours. Inspector General Chandrasekhar Reddy visited Pramod’s residence in New Bank Colony in Kanteshwar in the city and paid his respects. Later, he visited his family members and expressed his condolences. IG Chandrasekhar Reddy and CP Sai Chaitanya, who were moved by the cries of the family members, consoled Pramod’s family and assured them that the police department would always stand by them. Later, Pramod’s last rites were performed amidst official ceremonies. Additional DCP Baswareddy, along with ACPs of Nizamabad, Armur, and Bodhan, city circle inspectors, SIs, representatives of the Police Welfare Association, and a large number of people attended the funeral.
