Hydrabad,july 23(Gatla News): Meru castes BC-D to BC-A State Congress OBC Cell Senior General Secretary, Meru Youth Association President of Telangana and Andhra States Palkam Srinivas stated that it should be changed into. The petition was handed over along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. Speaking on this occasion, Polkam Srinivas said that for ten years, the former Chief Minister KCR’s government did not commit the sin of caring for the Meru castes. He said that the KCR government has not given even a single sewing machine to the Meru caste who do tailor work. The Congress government has done all the social and economic development for the Meru castes, who are more than 20 lakhs in the state.He appealed to Bhatti Vikramarka to cooperate. Polkam Srinivas said that there should be opportunity for Meru castes in nominated positions in Rajya Sabha and Parliament seats. Bhatti Vikramarka responded positively on this occasion.
