Nizamabad, January 09 (Gatla News): The Police Commissioner’s team achieved a resounding victory in a friendly cricket match played between the CP Team and the Press Club Eleven teams. The friendly cricket match was held between the police team and the press club team at the Police Parade Ground in the city on Friday. The police team won the toss and elected to bat first. In the stipulated 12 overs, the police team scored 133 runs, losing two wickets. SI Kiran Paul, who batted for the police team, scored 96 runs and remained not out. Nizamabad ACP Raja Venkat Reddy scored 35 runs and remained unbeaten.
He also took one wicket in bowling. The Press Club team, batting second, scored 90 runs in the stipulated 12 overs, losing six wickets. Police Commissioner Sai Chaitanya bowled 3 overs and took one wicket in each over, totaling three wickets. Additional DCP Baswa Reddy bowled one over and took one wicket.
