Velpur, November 26 (Gatla News): The Govinda Sai Divya Yoga Ashram, Sai Baba Temple, established by spiritual preacher Sri Raghavendra Swamiji on the outskirts of Velpur, conducted a begging ceremony in Aminapoor and Anksapoor villages of Velpur mandal under the auspices of the temple committee members, media spokesperson Kankanala Rajeshwar said in a statement. On this occasion, Govindagiri Swami’s disciple and renowned spiritual preacher Sri Raghavendra Swamiji said that Dattatreya is the only form of the Trinity, Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar. Dattatreya is considered the guru and the head of yoga. Dattatreya has three heads and six arms. He is accompanied by four dogs and a cow. Dattatreya is accompanied by a conch, chakra and trident. He is worshipped as a god who is more merciful than the Guru. He said that Datta Jayanti is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the Shukla Paksha of the Margashir month. Temple committee members, Sai Bhajan artists, Sai devotees and others participated in the alms-giving.
