On Saturday, the members of farmers’ associations from various parts of the district gathered in large numbers for the protest meeting organized under the auspices of farmers’ associations in Armur, Nizamabad district. They held placards and raised slogans for complete loan waiver for all eligible farmers. Speaking on this occasion, every funder of the Rythu Uyka Action Committee asked the government not to impose any conditions for the loan waiver. They want to deposit Rs.7,500 per acre in farmers’ accounts under Rythu Bharosa for every season. Later, a resolution with several demands was handed over to Armor RDO Rajagoud. MLA Vemula Prashant Reddy, former MLAs Bajireddy Govardhan, Jeevan Reddy, BJP leaders Palle Gangareddy, Mallikarjun Reddy and others participated in the protest meeting and spoke.
