– Collector hoists the national flag

Nizamabad, January 26 (Gatla News): Republic Day celebrations were held grandly at the Police Parade Ground in Nizamabad district headquarters to mark India’s Republic Day.

District Collector Ila Tripathi attended as the chief guest and hoisted the tricolor flag. She then received a guard of honor from the police. In her address, she spoke about the welfare and development programs being implemented in the district by various departments and the progress achieved. Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta, Police Commissioner Sai Chaitanya, Additional Collectors Ankit and Kiran Kumar, Additional DCP Baswareddy, and district officials from various departments participated in the event. On this occasion, the Collector extended Republic Day greetings to the district officials and prominent citizens. Certificates of appreciation were presented to employees who rendered outstanding services. Stalls set up by the departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, District Rural Development Agency, Forest, Dairy, Veterinary, Education, Health, Women and Child Welfare, Irrigation, Mission Bhagiratha, Fisheries, and others were impressive. The parade showcasing the implementation of the government’s prestigious schemes such as Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Houses, Food Security (ration) cards, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, and other welfare schemes and development programs, along with displays of vehicles related to agriculture, housing, DRDA, Transco, civil supplies, medical and health services, Rajiv Aarogyasri, 108 and 102 ambulances, mobile forensic vans, and HIV/AIDS awareness, was impressive.

*Children’s Cultural Performances were Enthusiastic*

On the occasion of Republic Day celebrations, the cultural performances by children captivated the audience. Filled with patriotic fervor, they added vibrancy to the Republic Day celebrations with their performances. Students from Wisdom High School performed a dance to the song ‘Talli Bharathi Vandanam’, children from Vasudha High School depicted the valor and bravery of Sambhaji Maharaj, and boys and girls from Vijay High School effortlessly showcased beautiful dance forms highlighting the importance of following road safety rules, leaving everyone amazed. Students from Manavata Sadhan in Dichpally demonstrated their artistic skills by playing drums in perfect rhythm. All the children wore uniform costumes and entertained with their performances. They attracted everyone’s attention with their dance performances and patriotic songs, fostering a sense of national unity. On this occasion, the Collector, the Commissioner of Police, along with other guests and district officials, went to the children and presented them with mementos and certificates of appreciation, congratulating them specially. Cheques for Stree Nidhi loans were distributed to self-help groups. DRDO Sayagoud, DPO Srinivas Rao, DSO Arvind Reddy, officials and staff from all departments, freedom fighters, citizens, and students participated in the celebrations. Earlier, Collector Ila Tripathi hoisted the tricolor flag at the camp office and the Zilla Parishad office.

At the Integrated District Offices Complex, Additional Collector Kiran Kumar hoisted the tricolor flag. Collectorate AO Prashanth, officials and employees from various departments participated.
