Nizamabad, February 6 (Gatla News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy clarified that if the Congress candidates are elected in the municipal elections, the responsibility for development will be his. On Friday, as part of his visit to Nizamabad district, he inaugurated several development projects and laid foundation stones. He addressed a public meeting organized on Friday in the outskirts of Bardipur, Nizamabad. He alleged that Union Minister Kishan Reddy is protecting former Chief Minister KCR, who was involved in a Rs. 1 lakh crore corruption scam, from going to jail. The Chief Minister criticized that Nizamabad has become a mess in the last ten years and that Dharmapuri Arvind, who won as MP twice, has not done any development. He said that Arvind’s complete failure as an MP is evident in the fact that Nizamabad did not even get recognition as a Smart City. He said that if Nizamabad city is to achieve 100% development, it is only possible with the Congress, and he, as the Municipal Administration Minister, will take full responsibility and lead Nizamabad on the path of development. He said that they are fulfilling the promises made in the last elections, and the opposition is creating a fuss about it. He said that the combination of Revanth Reddy and Mahesh Kumar Goud will be as successful as that of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Dharmapuri Srinivas. He asserted that the Congress party is certain to win in the upcoming assembly elections with their current combination. He expressed confidence that the Congress flag would definitely fly high in the municipal elections. He mocked that the BRS and BJP have a Fevicol-like bond in the state, and that Kishan Reddy has transformed into Kalvakuntla Kishan Rao. He alleged that KCR’s illegitimate son KTR is protecting his adopted son Kishan Rao from going to jail in the car race case, and demanded that BJP state president Ramachandra Rao answer this. Similarly, he stated that he was not hurt by BJP state president Ramachandra Rao calling him ‘Revanthuddin’, and clarified that all communities are equal to him. He called for burying the BJP in the state, stating that it is of no use whatsoever. He said that despite giving them 8 MP seats in the state, they only managed to get two central ministers, and that Telangana has not benefited even a single penny from them so far. He stated that he stands by all castes and religions, and is committed to their welfare, thereby earning their love and affection. That is why,

he said, he has become a man of all people. He expressed great joy that he mingles with the Gouds like a Goud, with the Mudirajus like a Mudiraju, with the Madigas like a Madiga, and with the Muslims like a Muslim, and that their respective communities embrace him as one of their own. If Arvind is elected in Nizamabad, it would prove that all his promises over the years were empty words, as he has failed to develop Nizamabad into a smart city. The Chief Minister promised that he would develop Nizamabad Corporation as a hub of development and make it a model for Telangana. He said he would bring an airport to the district and construct an outer ring road. On this occasion, he handed over checks worth one crore rupees to the families of police personnel who recently died in the line of duty in the district. Minister for Major Irrigation Uttam Kumar Reddy, Minister for Agriculture Thummala Nageswara Rao, Pradesh Congress Committee President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, Government Chief Advisors Mohammed Ali Shabbir and Sudarshan Reddy, Nizamabad Rural MLA Rekulapally Bhupathi Reddy, MLC Balmuri Venkat, state corporation chairmen, Nizamabad district Congress leaders, and workers participated in this program.
