– Collector’s Order to Tahsildars

Nizamabad, May 31 (GatlaNews): Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu has instructed the Tahsildars to take the initiative to ensure that sand and mortar are available to the beneficiaries constructing houses under the Indiramma Scheme. He made special instructions in a meeting held with the Tahsildars on Saturday at the Integrated District Offices Complex. He said that in the context of the government ambitiously implementing the Indiramma Houses Scheme, there is a need to encourage the beneficiaries in all ways. As part of this, he ordered to take steps to ensure that adequate sand is available to those who come forward for the construction of houses. He said that the beneficiaries should be provided with specially issued way bills for the vehicles transporting the sand and that unnecessary difficulties should be avoided in terms of permissions. However, he advised that precautions should be taken to ensure that sand does not get diverted in the name of construction of Indiramma houses, and if necessary, the beneficiaries who are undertaking the construction of Indiramma houses should be identified by consulting MPDOs and MPOs. When the rains begin, there will be no situation where flood waters reach the streams and rivers and sand will be available, keeping this in mind, the Collector advised that steps should be taken to facilitate the Indiramma beneficiaries to prepare sufficient sand reserves in advance before the rains. He said that complaints should not be received anywhere that the construction of Indiramma houses has been stopped due to shortage of sand. Additional Collector Kiran Kumar, RDOs Rajendra Kumar and Rajagoud participated in this meeting.
