It was said that even though the labourers worked for 10 days in the muster, they were given eight days’ wages and were not given the wages of the other two days, causing them trouble. He said that in some areas, work was done without doing any work. He said that the report also revealed that wages were paid to the laborers without the signatures of the officials. The report revealed that there was a lot of illegality in planting trees in the mandal. He said that the staff who were supposed to work on the growth of the trees on a large scale had died due to improper supervision.
