New Delhi, June 09 (Gatla News): Ramesh John, President of the Armoor Mandal Pastors’ Association, participated in a meeting held by a BRS party delegation with Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, Chairman of the National Commission. The meeting focused on the primary demand to grant Scheduled Caste (SC) status to Dalit Christians. BRS representatives—including Rajya Sabha Deputy Floor Leader Vaddiraju Ravichandra, former Minister Koppula Eshwar, Party General Secretary R.S. Praveen Kumar, and former Corporation Chairman Rajiv Sagar—submitted a detailed report on the issue to the Commission Chairman. Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh John stated that the BRS party’s submission of a report regarding Christian welfare during the meeting with Justice Balakrishnan stands as a testament to former Chief Minister KCR’s commitment. He criticized other political parties for remaining silent on this matter. Meanwhile, Manikyala Srinivas, State Secretary of the Christian Council of Telangana, remarked that the credit for striving towards the welfare of Christians following the formation of Telangana state belongs solely to the TRS party. Christian leaders—including Bishop Vidyasagar, Moses, Solomon, and Bishop Durgam Prabhakar along with several others, participated in the event.
