Morthad, February 02 (Gatla News): Senior Congress minority leader Md. Naseer, a resident of Mortad mandal headquarters, passed away due to a heart attack. His death, after actively serving the Congress party for the past two decades, has created an irreparable loss for the party and the local people. Naseer remained loyal to the Congress party from the time former Speaker KR Suresh Reddy was an MLA until now, earning a reputation as a trustworthy leader. He possessed a nature that embraced everyone, regardless of party affiliation, caste, or religion. He worked for Hindu-Muslim unity and earned the affection of all. For many years, he stood by the party through thick and thin and provided support to the party workers. Upon hearing the news of Naseer’s death, Balkonda constituency in-charge Muthyala Sunil Kumar Reddy rushed to Mortad from Hyderabad. He participated in the funeral, paid tributes to Naseer’s mortal remains, and consoled the family members. On this occasion, he expressed his grief, stating that Naseer’s death is an irreplaceable loss for the Congress party. A large number of people, minority leaders, leaders from various parties, and public representatives attended the funeral in Mortad village. His funeral concluded amidst tearful farewells. As the Congress government is currently in power, local leaders and party workers are requesting that the government and the party leadership provide full support to Naseer’s family, given his continuous service to the party.
