Nizamabad, May 24(Gatla news): As per the government’s orders, the ration quota for the next three months will be distributed at once through the public distribution system, Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu said in a statement on Saturday. He said that those with ration cards can get the rice quota for the months of June, July and August at once through ration shops. He said that all necessary arrangements are being made to this end and suggested that cheap price shop dealers import the quota of three spices and distribute the rice quota to the consumers on time. He said that the distribution process should be completed by June 01 to 30. He said that if there is any irregularity or negligence in the distribution of rice, strict action will be taken against those responsible. He said that the government has taken this decision keeping in mind the difficulties such as rains, floods, storage problems and other problems that occur during the monsoon season. The Collector has instructed the Civil Supplies Department officials to strictly monitor the timely arrival of rice stocks at ration shops as per the government orders and ensure that three months’ supply is distributed to cardholders as per their quota at the same time. He has also directed them to ensure that the goods are transported from MLS points to ration shops in a proper manner and that rice stocks are available.
