Vemugallu Lions Club distributes blankets to BC Hostel students

Bheemgal, November 16 (Gatla News): With the aim of helping students face the cold in the face of the increasing severity of winter, Vemugallu Lions Club came forward and distributed blankets to students residing in the Badugu Weaker Sections Hostel (BC Hostel) in the town on Sunday. Later, President Dr. Padala Purandar said that after seeing the news on the channels that there were no blankets for students in the BC Hostel, the Lions Club decided to provide blankets to every student and distributed the blankets. He said that providing better facilities is a social responsibility.“The students, who are the citizens of tomorrow, should forget the cold and focus only on their studies and move forward towards higher studies without any difficulties,” he reminded. Our Lions Club is always active in the fields of education, health and social service. The hostel in-charge warden said that the Lions Club members providing blankets to the students during the cold season was a great help. He thanked them on behalf of the students. Club Treasurer Edla Shekhar, Vice Presidents (Public Hospital) Hanmandlu, (Narayana School) Prasad, PRO Purastu Limbadri, Program Coordinator Dr. Srikanth Ramavath, Assistant Coordinator Bhukya Limbadri, Emmanuel Ryada Srinivas, Hanmantu, club members and hostel staff, students participated enthusiastically in this program.
