Armoor, October 10 (Gatla News): A woman who attempted suicide by consuming pesticide, alleging that her family members were harassing her and not allowing her to build a house, is undergoing treatment at MJ Hospital in Armoor town. According to her husband Rathod Ganesh, Rathod Mounika, a resident of Sikindrapur village in Jakranpalli mandal, decided to demolish her old house and build a house for Indiramma since it was sanctioned. In this process, Ganesh’s father Kishan, uncles Ramu, Hari, Vittal and Renuka are preventing her from building a house. She explained that she has been paying the old house registration, house tax and current bill herself for a few years. She said that in the past, her father and uncles had told her to register the house and take a loan to build a house. He said that he had filed a complaint with the relevant higher authorities that Indiramma had registered without knowing to stop the construction of the house. He said that when he went to lodge a complaint at the Jakran Pally police station in this regard, the SI did not even take the complaint. He alleged that for the past few days, family members have been harassing him and threatening to kill him regarding the construction of the house. On Friday, a fight broke out with family members over the same matter and his wife Rathod Mounika attempted suicide by consuming pesticide at home. He said that his wife, who was in critical condition, was brought to Armur Private Hospital. He demanded that action be taken against those responsible for my wife’s suicide attempt.
