Nizamabad, May 08 (Gatla news) : In order to prevent temptations in elections, Nizamabad Parliament Constituency Election Expenditure Inspectors D.M. Nemji conducts extensive inspections. Besides visiting the check posts established in the respective areas, the performance of the surveillance teams (SST, FST team) is being closely examined at the field level. As the time for polling approached, the checks were intensified. As part of this, the ongoing check post in Madhavnagar was inspected on Wednesday. He inquired about the amount of illegal cash, goods and liquor reserves seized since the election schedule was published.
Records containing details of inspections were examined. Also, after examining the performance of the surveillance teams working in the respective areas, several suggestions were made. As the time for polling is nearing, the observer suggested that strict vigilance should be maintained as there is a possibility of distribution of cash and liquor to tempt the voters. He said that special attention should be focused especially since there is a possibility of transporting a large amount of liquor at present than in normal times.
