Nizamabad, May 22 (Gatla News): Responding to a call issued by District Collector Ila Tripathi urging employee unions and voluntary organizations to conduct blood donation camps for Thalassemia patients a blood donation drive was organized on Friday at the Integrated District Offices Complex. The event was held under the joint auspices of the Telangana Revenue Employees Services Association and the Helping Hearts Foundation. Nizamabad Rural MLA Dr. Bhupathi Reddy inaugurated the camp, following which a large number of revenue employees and association representatives voluntarily came forward to donate blood. The MLA commended the organizers, remarking that conducting a blood donation camp driven by a genuine desire to support Thalassemia patients is a noble initiative. Additional Collector Kiran Kumar, District Revenue Officer B. Geetha, Nizamabad RDO Rajendra Kumar, District President of the Revenue Employees’ Association Raman Reddy, Collectorate Administrative Officer (AO) Prashanth Kumar, Red Cross representative Bussa Anjaneyulu, and others participated in the program.
