Morthad, August 5(Gatla News): As part of the first day of activities of Purity and Greenness program in Morthad mandal center as part of the first day of activity, a rally was held in the village and a meeting was held in the Gram Panchayat precinct.As part of their daily activities, saplings will be planted on both sides of the Sunketa bypass road on Monday. In the common health center, people have been made aware of issues such as separating wet garbage from dry garbage and preventing the use of plastic.
Also, in the afternoon, the government primary schools were cleaned and essay competitions were organized for male and female students on cleanliness and green program in the schools. Mandal Special Officer Madhusudan Reddy participated and said that such programs can be successful because of the voluntary assistance of the people of the village to the government officials. Everyone is asked to keep personal and environment clean and fill with greenery and keep our mandal center clean and green.
In this program Mortad Village Special Officer B. Tirumala, Mandal Panchayat Officer M. Sridhar, other mandal level officials, Panchayat Secretary M. Srinivas, Panchayat staff from all departments. Officials, leaders of various parties, members of youth groups, members of women’s groups, village people and others participated.
