Armoor, April 11 (Gatla News): The 199th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule were grandly organized on Saturday at the E.R. Foundation office, located in Srirama Colony within the Armoor municipal limits. Foundation Chairman Rajasekhar paid a rich tribute to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule by garlanding his portrait. Speaking on this occasion, Eeravatri Rajasekhar stated that it is incumbent upon everyone to move forward by drawing inspiration from the ideals of the great Jyotirao Phule. He described him as a visionary who championed the significance of education globally, transformed society, and instilled the inspiring belief in everyone’s hearts that without education, there is no survival. He asserted that we would truly be paying a fitting tribute to this great man—who stood as a role model for all by eradicating caste, religious, and gender discrimination during his era—only when we all walk in accordance with his ideals. He emphasized that, inspired by Phule’s vision for the political upliftment of the Bahujan masses, there is an absolute necessity for them to step forward into the political arena in the days to come. Foundation members—including Kunda Ramprasad, Tamme Vinod, Dinesh, Mukesh, Kranthi, Ambala Dharmaveer, Saif, Jagadeesh, Neelam Srinivas, Raju, Bhaskar, and others—participated in the event and paid their tributes to the great Jyotirao Phule by garlanding his portrait.
