Mortad, April 11 (Gatla News): Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jayanti celebrations were organized in a grand manner at Mortad Mandal Center under the auspices of the Village Secretariat by Sarpanch Anand and Upasarpanch Srinivas. These celebrations were organized as part of the decision taken by the Telangana State Government to officially celebrate the birth anniversary of the great man. On this occasion, floral garlands were placed at Phule’s portrait and tributes were paid. On this occasion, the Sarpanch and Upasarpanch praised the efforts made by Phule for social equality and the field of education.
