Nizamabad, May 06 (Gatla News): The first meeting of the District Media Accreditation Committee (DMAC) was held on Wednesday at the Integrated District Offices Complex, presided over by the Committee’s Chairperson and District Collector, Ila Tripathi. Committee members presented a floral bouquet to the Collector and formally introduced themselves. During the meeting, online applications submitted for accreditation cards for the 2026–2028 tenure were reviewed. While the committee members approved the applications deemed eligible in accordance with the provisions of G.O. 252, the Committee Chairperson—the Collector—formally sanctioned them. On this occasion, the Collector directed that, in adherence to the guidelines issued by the government, the process of issuing accreditation cards to eligible journalists through the District Media Accreditation Committee must be conducted smoothly and with complete transparency. She further instructed that future applications should also be scrutinized thoroughly in the same manner, ensuring that an accreditation card is granted to every eligible journalist.
