Armoor, May 22 (Gatla News): Gollapalli Srinivas Goud, who was recently elected as the Vice President of the State Gowda Association, was grandly honored on Friday with a shawl and a garland of flowers under the aegis of the District Gowda Association and the District Gowda Youth Association. The event was attended by key guests, including District Gowda Association President Degam Yadagoud, Armoor Division President Rama Goud, and Armoor Mandal President Linga Goud. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President of the Gowda Youth Association stated that they would take steps to unite the Gowda brethren across the state, Mandal wise, and work towards strengthening the community. He noted that while the State Government has established and appointed officials to the Gowds Corporation, it must provide adequate funds to ensure justice for toddy tappers and the Gowda brethren. On this occasion, he also put forth demands to provide pension facilities for toddy tappers and to enhance their accident insurance coverage. He expressed his gratitude to the District Gowda Association and the various Mandal Gowda Youth Associations for honoring him. The event witnessed the large-scale participation of the District Gowda Youth Association executive committee, youth executive committees from various Mandals, and members of the Gowda Association.
