Nizamabad, May 18 (Gatla News): Nizamabad Member of Parliament, Dharmapuri Arvind, launched a scathing criticism, alleging that the Chief Minister has completely turned his back on Indur district. Speaking at a press conference held at the district headquarters on Monday, the MP accused CM Revanth Reddy of giving the cold shoulder to Nizamabad district. He remarked that the Chief Minister is neglecting the district—denying it necessary support—in a deliberate attempt to politically sideline TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud. He further questioned, “With what face is Mahesh Kumar Goud still touring the district?” He pointed out that the Chief Minister, who had promised an Outer Ring Road for Nizamabad during the municipal elections, has since completely forgotten about it. He warned that if the people of Indur are deceived, they will teach a fitting lesson in the future. He further criticized the CM, stating that for someone who has deceived even the gods, deceiving the public is a trivial matter. He predicted that under the current Congress regime, the underground drainage works in the city would never be completed. He noted that less than 25 percent of the work has been finished so far, and out of the required ₹162 crores, the government has allocated a mere ₹10 crores for the Underground Drainage (UGD) project. Arvind speculated that Modi and Revanth might eventually join forces, much like Suvendu Adhikari did in Bengal. He expressed suspicion that this might be the reason Modi recently asked Revanth to “work together” with him. (Note: In Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari had switched his allegiance from the Trinamool Congress to the BJP. Recently, during an event held in Hyderabad, Modi had asked Revanth Reddy to work together with him.) In this context, MP Arvind’s remarks have become a subject of discussion. Speaking recently during the Prime Minister’s visit to the state—specifically while the PM was extending an invitation to CM Revanth Reddy to join the BJP—the MP made comments regarding the Chief Minister. He stated that CM Revanth Reddy had declared that Rahul Gandhi would not become Prime Minister until 2039; this, he argued, implies that Rahul will never become Prime Minister and constitutes an admission by CM Revanth Reddy himself that the BJP will remain in power in the country for another ten years. He further suggested to the Congress party that, instead of Revanth Reddy, individuals like Komatireddy and Sridhar Babu should be appointed as Chief Minister, noting that they have been with the Congress party since its inception. Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana, National Turmeric Board Chairman Palle Ganga Reddy, BJP District President Dinesh Kulachari, State Vice President Gopidi Sravanthi Reddy, and Corporators Nagolla Lakshminarayana, Sudheer, Jagadeesh Kulkarni, among others, participated in this press conference.
